The Challenge

A couple planning their dream wedding at the Swan House — one of Atlanta's most prestigious and photographed venues — needed portable restroom facilities that matched the elegance of their celebration. The Swan House at the Atlanta History Center in Buckhead is a 1928 Italianate mansion with manicured gardens, and the bride was adamant: no blue plastic boxes anywhere near her wedding photos.

The challenges were unique:

• Aesthetic requirements — restrooms had to blend with the historic venue's character
• Tight access — narrow garden pathways limited trailer positioning options
• 200 guests with open bar — high restroom demand over a 6-hour celebration
• October weather — Atlanta's fall temperatures could swing from 75°F to 55°F during an evening event
• Venue restrictions — no ground stakes, no driving on manicured lawns, specific noise requirements

Our Assessment

• Two placement zones identified — a service road behind the garden terrace could accommodate luxury trailers, hidden from the ceremony and reception views by existing hedgerows
• Power access — the venue's catering prep area had 30-amp shore power available within 100 feet
• Pathway width — 42-inch garden paths meant ADA units needed to be positioned at the wider terrace entrance
• Guest flow — ceremony in the garden, cocktails on the terrace, dinner in the tent — restrooms needed to be accessible from all three areas without crossing the main photo backdrop

The Solution

• 2 × ADA-Accessible Units — positioned at the terrace entrance with decorative lattice screening to blend with the garden aesthetic
• 2 × Deluxe Flushable Units — for catering staff and vendor use, positioned behind the service tent
• 3 × Portable Hand Wash Stations — one per luxury trailer zone plus one near the catering area

Premium Touches

• 🌸 Fresh flower arrangements on each vanity counter (coordinated with the florist)
• 🕯️ Battery-powered LED candles on trailer steps for evening ambiance
• 🧴 Premium hand soap and lotion (provided by the couple's preferred brand)
• 🪞 Touch-up station with tissues, mints, and hairspray in the bridal party trailer
• 🌿 Living plant screen around trailer exteriors to integrate with the garden setting
